How much does ACRA charge to incorporate a company in Singapore?

ACRA charges S$15 for a company-name application and S$300 for company registration, so the standard government cost to incorporate a Singapore company is S$315. Anything above that is the provider's professional fee or optional services such as a company secretary, registered address or nominee director. Some packages build the S$315 into the price while others list it separately, so headline figures are not directly comparable. ACRA fees also continue after incorporation: one package in our ranking includes the S$60 ACRA fee for annual-return filing within its annual corporate service.

What changes the answer
- Whether the S$315 is bundled: a package that includes government fees can look dearer than one that adds them later.
- Foreign directors or shareholders: without a locally resident director you may need a nominee director, published at S$1,500–S$2,400 a year by Swiftly and S$2,000 a year plus a S$3,000 refundable deposit by Raffles Corporate Services.
- Surcharges: Margin Wheeler adds S$200 where there is a foreign shareholder or director.
- Timing: several providers state one to two working days, but Swiftly notes rare referrals can take 14 days to two months.
- GST: some packages are GST-inclusive and others are not.
What to check before you decide
- Ask whether the quoted price already includes the S$15 and S$300 ACRA fees.
- Get a dated, itemised quotation that states the GST treatment.
- Compare second-year costs: company secretary, annual-return filing and a registered address (published at S$200–S$300 a year by two providers in our ranking).
- If you are a foreign founder, check nominee-director conditions, deposits and renewal prices.
